There is nothing more meaningful to a person who rarely gets out than having a visitor! On the third Wednesday and Thursday mornings of each month a team from First Baptist Church goes out to visit shut-ins. They go to the DuPage Convalescent Center and to various homes of those either shut in due to physical restrictions or due to aging for the purpose of encouraging them. This consists of listening, sharing Scripture, singing hymns and prayer. The team’s focus is Matthew 25:31-46.
